1. Notify your landlord & make sure you have the necessary clearance documents signed off.

2. Take all small valuable items: such as: i.e: diamond rings, Ipads, expensive jewelry, cellphones, wallets, etc, and ensure they are all locked away in a safe and secure place.

3. Vicious dogs or animals should stay clear of our moving crew.

4. Boxes should not be overly packed, as it can lead to breakage.

5. It’s a good idea to have spare plastic crates to store items in.

6. We use specialized moving blankets, but it’s still a good idea to have bubble wrap to move delicate items, such as mirrors etc.

7. Please ensure that large items can fit through door/passage entrances (additional costs will apply, if gates or doors are/need to be removed.)

8. Large furniture items, such as: headboards, dressing tables, bunk beds, often need to be disassembled. Please notify your moving company of these requirements.

9. Please notify your moving company about any dangerous items, such as: gas, flammable items, snakes, guns, etc.

10. Meat & food items should be put into a cooler box to prevent defrosting.

11. Preparation work should be done before the day of the move, such as: packaging of curtains, boxes, etc.

12. Tvs, mirrors, & paintings should be sufficiently protected by being bubble wrapped.

13. Boxes should be marked correctly, ex: bedroom 1, bedroom 2, bedroom 3

14. A early start to your move is better than a late start to your move.

15. Any changes to the moving inventory list, needs to be done prior to the day of the move, as additional items will be billed for

16. Please note that many items may not fit into your new place of residence, such as: beds, washing machines that don’t fit under the counter or through the doors, lounge suits etc.

17. Wrap your items in the best possible way to ensure their protection.

18. Don’t interfere with the moving crew, they have years of experience in their job/in what they do.

19. Make sure the truck has access codes, so that the gates don’t close on the truck.

20. Glass items should be wrapped carefully.
