Do you disconnect the stove and other appliances?
No. We do not connect / disconnect washers, dryers, stoves or any other appliances.Electrical, plumbing and gas work should be done by a qualified tradesperson.
Do you disassemble / reassemble things?
Yes. We disassemble / reassemble basic furnishings, e.g. beds, hanging cabinets, wall panels, etc. A service fee is applicable.
Will you be able to move my plants?
Yes. We will take them at your request; however, we are not liable if they perish.
Plants do not travel well. The movement and temperature in the back of the truck may adversely affect your plants. Plants cannot be watered before the move, as leakage is likely to occur.
What qualifies as a local move?
A local move typically refers to relocations within the same city or metropolitan area, usually within a 50km radius.
Do you move animals?
Yes. We do transport animals. Contact us to find our more about our animal transportation services!
Do you do long distance moves to other provinces?
Yes we do. QE Transport is equipped to handle both smaller local moves as well as commercial freight services across the country. Contact us to find out more.
Are there items I cannot move in the truck?
Yes. Full gas bottles, fireworks, explosives, flammable chemicals, and hazardous materials are not permitted in the truck.
Do you offer storage?
Yes. We can arrange for medium to long term solutions storage for your possessions.
